Data Architect

IT Partners Consulting is an SAP consulting company, seeking highly professional, motivated and skilled resources for a Federal Contract.

 
Summary of Role:

The Data Architect will design and build relational databases.  DLA experience preferred.

 Primary Responsibilities:

• Will perform data access analysis design, and archive/recovery design and implementation.
• Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
• Works in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, and metadata repository creation.
• Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions. 
• Defines, designs and builds platforms, and integrating systems. 
• Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.

 Required Skills:

• Must have 5-7 years of relevant work experience
• Must be eligible for IT II
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority

  Education: 

•   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
